Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions will apply to all transactions placed online, by email, telephone or by post with Racelite.com. Please read carefully before placing an order. Nothing in these terms & conditions will affect your statutory rights. All references to 'us', 'we' or the 'company' refer to Racelite.com. 'You' or the 'customer' refers to the person responsible for placing the order. By placing an order with Racelite.com you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Prices and Shipment Cost

All prices are including tax. We deliver to all countries within the European Union. For shipment to other countries please enquire with us.

In addition to the product price there may be a shipment charge depending on the country and the total value of products ordered. Our shipment charge for Germany is EUR 4.50. For shipment to other countries of the European Union please refer to section "Shipment" on this website. Orders for shipment within Germany that value EUR 100.00 or more will be delivered free of charge.

For shipment to countries outside of the European Union we will charge the actual cost which will be confirmed prior to shipment. Orders will only be delivered if all prior orders have been paid. Until the order is paid the products continue to be property of the Great Outdoors.

Sender

We can only send your order if you have supplied us with the full address for delivery.

Time of delivery

You will receive your products as soon as possible. Your order will be sent from us or our partners at the latest five working days after we have received your order. Postal Services will deliver the products within 1 to 7 working days depending on the destination. However, our experience has shown us that delays are possible.

Should you have special requests (e.g. Express/24 hour delivery), please contact us by email to info@thegreatoutdoors.de.

Should a product be out of stock we will notify you immediately and determine the further procedure with you (late delivery, delivery of alternative product or cancellation of order).

Payment

Payments can be done by:

Credit Card (Visa/Mastercard), cards will only be debited the day the shipment goes out of our warehouse

If you pay by Bank Transfer you agree to make the payment with 14 days after receiving the products. The Great Outdoors reserves itself the right to exclude a method of payment.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We use your order and personal details only for the fulfilment of your order. All customer data is stored and managed according to the German Data Protection Laws (BDSG) and the Electronic Communications Law (TDDSG). At all times you have got the right of free of charge information, correction, blocking or deletion of your data. Please send your request by email to info@thegreatoutdoors.de or by mail.

We do not pass on your address and email address to third parties without your prior and always retractable consent. The only exceptions are our partners for fulfilment of your order (e.g. the service company for delivery or the service company for credit card payments). However, in these cases the amount of transmitted data is limited to the minimum amount of data needed.

We apply technical and organisational safety measures in order to protect the data we store from coincidental or wilful manipulation, loss, destruction or access from unauthorized persons.

Returns

You may return delivered products within 14 days. You do not need to state a reason. The bill of sales becomes effective by your approval as soon as you receive the products – at the latest after the 14 day limit for returns. What matters in order to look after the limit for returns is that you send the products in time. The return needs to be addressed/sent to

Consequences of Returns

To return a non-faulty item the product must be in its original condition with the original labels attached and a copy of the invoice. Once an item has been worn or used we will be unable to refund or exchange unless the item is found to have a fault. Should an item be returned with no fault but in a used condition we will return it to the customer.

Please note: You need to pay for the shipment of returns if the product you received is what you had ordered and/or if the value of the product does not exceed EUR 40 or if the value exceeds EUR 40 and you have not paid, yet. In all other cases the return shipment is free of charge.

Warranty and repairs

Warranty and repairs We offer warranty and repairs according to the relevant laws. We have the right to replace or repair products that were delivered with a fault. Should the repair not be sufficient or the second shipment again contain a damaged product, you can return the product and will be fully refunded. Alternatively, you can keep the product and ask for a reduction of the price. For information on the product warranty from the manufacturer please look at the relevant product documentation.

We are not liable for any product information that comes from the manufacturers (this is especially important regarding any gear for climbing and mountaineering!). Please note that the manufacturer is liable.

Contract

By clicking the "order" button you send us a binding order for the products in your shopping basket. Immediately afterwards you will receive an order confirmation. The sales contract will not be effective on receipt of the order confirmation. The sales contract will only be effective upon receipt of a delivery confirmation or the delivery of the products.

Final Clause

Exclusive place of jurisdiction is our business location. This also applies if our customer does not have a place of jurisdiction in Germany.

The relations between the Great Outdoors and the customer are subject to German law applicable at the time of conclusion of the contract, with the exception of the uniform and relevant UN laws.

Should several terms of the contract including the terms and conditions be or become entirely or partially invalid this won’t affect the validity of all other terms. The invalid terms need to be replaced by terms which have the same economic benefits.
