The AntiGravityGear Basic Tarp is a comfortable and lightweight shelter for hikers looking to save weight and still get great protection from the weather. This Sil-Nylon Tarp Shelter is designed to offer the greatest amount of protection for the least possible weight. The tarp utilizes a trapezoidal set-up which gives the greatest amount of space under the canopy, and when coupled with the vestibule (now a standard feature) offers as much area under the canopy as many two person shelters!
The basic tarp is made from 1.1 oz siliconized ripstop nylon and weighs just 438 g including 4 Spectra guy-lines.
The Basic Tarp sets up quickly using a telescoping hiking pole (not included) or can be hung from a tree using the attached hang loop. This tarp has 8 stakeout loops for maximum cubic footage under canopy but can be setup with a minimum of 5 stakes (not included).
